Effective February 15, 2021, the CodeGuard support center will be merging with the Sectigo support center. This means that support emails will come from support@codeguard.com, and the knowledge base will be hosted on sectigo.com. There will be no interruption of our services, and you will continue to receive top of the line support during and after this transition.

Why don't I receive ChangeAlert email notifications every day?

By default, ChangeAlert notifications are set to the 'Summary' setting in your dashboard.

cg_notifications.pngThis means that ChangeAlerts are only sent to you when web content like PHP, HTML, CSS, RB or other similar web files change. With this setting, if cache, temp, image, video, or other media files are the only things changing on your website, you will not get a ChangeAlert notification. All emails will be logged in your Secure Inbox inside the dashboard though regardless.

This functionality is configurable, so if you would like to get emailed when any file changes no matter the type, you can update your preferences by following the instructions below.

1. Navigate to the Settings tab for your website.

2. Select the 'Extended' notification type and change 'Notification Filtering' to No.

With these settings, you will receive an email notification when any file on your website changes.
