If you would like to restore all of your website file content to a particular point in time, you can use the Automatic Restore feature. To do that, follow these steps.
Step 1. On your dashboard, click the "Actions" dropdown associated with the website that you would like to restore and select "Restore".
Step 2. Click on the "Restore Options" button next to the backup you need. If the date you need is not listed, click "View All Backups"
Step 3. Click on "Automatic Restore"
Step 4. If your website has a database, you will need to restore it as well. Please check the box next to your database if applicable and click "Next Step: Contact Info"
Step 5. Please provide any feedback as to why you are restoring your website then click "Next Step: Confirm Restore"
Step 6: Verify that all of the information is correct. If you need to change anything, click "Go Back". If it is correct, please click the checkbox indicating that you have verified the information and that you agree not to make any changes to your website until there restore has completed. If files are changed during the restore process, it can cause errors in your restore process. If you do not want us to run the pre-restore backup, check off the "Advanced Option" box as well (not recommended). When you're ready to begin the restore, click "Begin Restore"
Your restore process will now begin. You can follow its progress on our progress tracker. There is no need to stay on that page though because you will be notified by email when the restore has completed. If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to contact CodeGuard Support.
