Effective February 15, 2021, the CodeGuard support center will be merging with the Sectigo support center. This means that support emails will come from support@codeguard.com, and the knowledge base will be hosted on sectigo.com. There will be no interruption of our services, and you will continue to receive top of the line support during and after this transition.

What does the Backup Success Graph mean?

Now that you've begun backing up your websites with us, you've no doubt seen our backup success graphs at the top of your dashboard. When your backups are running successfully, it will look like this:

success_graph.png

But what does it mean when it looks like this?

success_graph_failure.png

The backup success graph indicates the percentage of backups that have run successfully over the last 7 days. In the case above, there has been 1 backup failure in the last 7 days.

What do I do now?

Check your email. Whenever there is a backup issue, we will notify you by email with information about why your backup did not run successfully and we will provide some troubleshooting steps for you.

We will highlight the website or database backup that failed in red or yellow. Red indicates that the most recent backup failed, and yellow indicates that there has been a failure in the last 7 days, but the most recent backup has completed successfully.

If you have any questions about why your backup failed and you've already followed the instructions in the failure notification email, please don't hesitate to reach out to our fast and friendly support team!
